Happy New Year everyone. As regular readers will have noticed, the blog has been a little short on content as I’ve celebrated Christmas and New Year, and kept a busy 22-month-old daughter entertained.
That’s going to change soon, so watch out for new reviews and articles any day.
In the meantime, this is a quick reminder that The Dice Tower has launched its 2015 Kickstarter campaign, and I’d urge you to support it in any way you can.
I’ve covered Kickstarter previously and why it’s important to the gaming community.
If you’re not familiar with The Dice Tower it’s a website which acts as the central portal for a community of reviewers and bloggers, known as The Dice Tower Network.
During 2014, the Dice Tower produced 1,200 videos along with a weekly podcast. It’s an incredible resource for boardgame fans, run by the tireless Tom Vassel.
But such a major undertaking requires resources. Tom runs The Dice Tower as a full-time job, and can’t do it without support and financing.
As a result, he’s launched his 2015 Kickstarter campaign, which you can find here.
As a fan of The Dice Tower and someone who rarely misses out on a podcast, I’d urge you to support the campaign in any way you can. There are a range of pledge levels from a single dollar upwards.
The way I see it, pledging a few dollars is a fine way to say thanks for 12 months of videos and podcasts.
